Dr. Upkeerut Saran

Born and raised in Ottawa, Dr. Upkeerut Saran’s drive to succeed and thirst for knowledge dates back to a young age. She graduated from Elmwood School, having completed high school in the ambitious International Baccalaureate program. There, she excelled and was awarded the prestigious Governor General’s Academic Medal, which is awarded to the student graduating with the highest academic average in her grade. Wanting to stay close to her home and family, Dr. Saran studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Ottawa, before being granted early acceptance into the Faculté de médecine dentaire at Université Laval in Quebec City. She completed dental school entirely in French, and is happy to return to her hometown to offer her services in English, French, and Punjabi. She was inspired by her mother, Dr. Baldeep Saran’s, passion for dentistry and is proud to have followed in her footsteps. Dr. Saran keeps herself busy with ongoing continuing education courses to master the art of dentistry. Holding a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, she also enjoys reading, gardening, spending time with her family, and keeping up to date with the latest period drama. She looks forward to meeting you!
