Dr. Baldeep Saran

Dr. Saran is the founder and principal dentist at Jeanne d’Arc Dental Centre, and has been serving the Ottawa area for over 27 years. She graduated from Université de Montreal in 1995, and is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Ottawa Dental Society, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. She offers her services in multiple languages, including English, French, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.

Over the years, Dr. Saran has completed extensive additional training in Orthodontics (1999), including Invisalign (2005). She has over 20 years of experience in the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea using oral appliances, and is also certified in Minimal Sedation (nitrous oxide/laughing gas). In addition, she is also certified in performing the LANAP procedure. She was the very first dentist to bring this technology to Ottawa, completing her training at the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry in California in 2008. Always striving to bring the latest technology to her patients, Dr. Saran is also trained to use CAD/CAM technology to do single visit ceramic restorations.

Dr. Saran has a true passion for dentistry, and a lot of compassion for her patients – not only from our community, but also from afar. She has participated in a dental outreach mission in Mixco, Guatemala to provide dental services to underprivileged communities that have limited access to dental care. Dr. Saran is happily married and enjoys spending time with her three now grown children. She loves to cook, and enjoys yoga, meditation, and gardening.
