We understand that paying for treatment upfront can be expensive and difficult for many families, especially when you have multiple family members and large treatment plans.
Here at the Jeanne d'Arc Dental Centre, We do Direct Billing for you.
What does that mean?
It means that when you come in for your appointment, we will be able to bill your insurance company directly! You no longer have to wait for your insurance company to reimburse you. As a result, you will only be required to pay the necessary deductibles and percentages that are not covered! You will also be responsible for submitting any portion not covered by your primary insurance to your secondary insurance.
How does it work?
The dental claim will be sent electronically to your primary insurance on the day of your appointment. You will be expected to pay any difference on the date of your appointment if coverage details are provided. If the insurance company does not respond with specific coverage details, your credit card will be charged on the date we receive payment from the insurance, and a receipt will be mailed/emailed to you.
A valid credit card MUST be kept on file for the assignment of benefits. It will be your responsibility to inform us of any changes to your credit card information i.e., expiry dates. In the event, the credit card is declined a $40.00 administration fee will be added to your account and no further assignment of benefits will be granted.
Please note: Credit card information is securely stored in payment card industry (PCI) compliant software.
